Samantha was beading a Bohemian bead bracelet for her bracelet stand. The bracelet was filled with teal beads. They were stained in brown splashes. The beads were cubed but some were "long John’s" like Sam would say. Once she was finished making the Bohemian she started on a retro hippy bracelet. She loved to make all kinds of styles and colors and shapes and sizes. That’s probably why she only spent about five dollars on materials and got back about ten dollars for all the bracelets. Anyways, moving on, I did tell you that she had a little business. Her bracelet stand was called Cupcake Friendship Bracelets. Sam was trying to look for Trisha, her sales and money business partner, but instead, she saw a cute boy coming towards her. She got out a pocket mirror from the stand’s drawer and took out some Watermelon Splash! lip gloss. She sprinkled some over her top lip and spread it onto her bottom lips. Once the boy was at the counter, her lip gloss and pocket mirror was safely tucked back into the stand’s drawer. Sam positioned her voice into a sweet, cheery tone and said, "Hi, what are you looking for this evening? We have sterling silver, teal Bohemian, retro hippy and a lot more options that you can see right under this case." Then, she pulled out the case with all the bracelets. "We also take custom orders." "Custom orders?" said the cute guy. "Ya, it’s when you get to check out the types of beads, cords, charms, styles we have and then you tell us what you want and come pick it up in a day. Doesn’t that sound like a good deal?" "Well, I guess, how much will that cost?" said the cute guy, now known as Tye from the basketball team at West Bridge Elementary. "Hmm, well, the original price was about five dollars but I’ll let it slide for two. And, I’ll throw in a free retro bracelet." "Thank’s kid." said Tye sounding rushed. "I’ll have the silver beads. They look cool. Ashley would like the pink cord, so put me up for that." Sam was crushed. Here she thought she had a shot with Tye, but all he saw was a dorky little girl running a stupid, little bracelet stand. ------------------------------------- The next day, Samantha got out the pink cord and silver beads. She glumly made the requested bracelet. She decided she would charge Tye a dollar extra because of the customness of the order. She spotted Tye, trotting towards her in an unhappy mood. "Hey kid." said Tye. "My name is Samantha, not kid." Sam said in a very moody tone. "Well, sorry, Samantha." Tye said back. "What do you want?" Sam shot back at him. "Well, Miss Samantha, I was going to pick up the bracelet, but an inconvinient surprise happened." said Tye sounding worn out. "Well what happened?" said Samantha, trying not to sound too desperate and forgiving. "Ashley flaked." "Ashley? Oh, yeah, Ashley." said Samantha. "Yeah, well, I was planning to go to the seventh grade ball." "But, you're in eighth grade." said Samantha. "But, you are." said Tye mysteriously. "Yeah, but you're not and besides, wait, you said me?" "Yes you." "You've never noticed me though." "Who told you that?" "Nobody really, but I figured. And when you said Ashley..." Tye inturrupted, "I was just trying to save my image." "Well, don't you think I have an image to save too?" "No. Well, yes but it's different." "Different how?" "Anyways, I'm asking you now. Will you go?" "Let me think about it. Yes!" Samantha and Tye had a great time at the seventh grade ball. There, they had a great time and they started to go out even more. Soon enough, Tye and Sam were boyfriend and girlfriend. They spent every possible moment together!
